Named after the chef and her husband, Agata E Romeo is one of Rome’s precious gems. It has been ranked in the top 100 restaurants in Italy. While Agata is in the kitchen preparing food and desserts, Romeo is out front taking care of the customers. The menu offers traditional items as well as creations from the chef. A favourite is the house specialty of pasta and broccoli. Beneath the restaurant is a wine cellar that leaves the customer with a wide array of choices. For those who find too many choices intimidating, Romeo is said to be a wine specialist so he’s good for a recommendation. An intimate eatery you are sure to remember.
